The 888115 is a genuine Ricoh toner cartridge.
Toner cartridges are a contain of toner powder which is the print material for laser printers. Toner powder is a dry powder that is used to form images, including pictures and text on sheet of paper. This is achieved by electrostatically charging and heating the toner, after being spread on the paper. The heating process melts the toner powder into the paper. The process is assisted by two heat rollers (fuser) to compact and press the toner into the paper. The finished product is warm to the touch when the print process is completed. Printing with a laser printer is very precise and very sharp in the definition. This is one of the great advantages of laser printing.
