Description

Printer

The Oki MB492DN mono laser printer is a multifunction with copier, flatbed scanner with double sided document feeder, colour printing and fax functionality.

Dimensions

Physical dimensions of the printer are 45.5 x 42.7 x 47.8 cm and weighs 22 kgs.

Setup

The printer can be configured with Oki’s SmartPrint Supervision management menu system which has a complete suite of tools for network printers.
The LCD touchscreen display shows an easy to use menu system, so that the user can configure the general functions.  Connect the Oki 492DN through Ethernet network cable or USB cable. An optional wireless network card is available.

Output

The MB492DN will print up to 40 pages per minute in up to 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution.  The standard paper tray has a capacity of 250 sheets and the multipurpose paper tray will hold 100 pages.

Oki advise a duty cycle of up to 80000 pages per month Recommended page volume is between 500 – 5000 pages per month.

Optional paper tray(s) are available with a capacity of 530 sheets.

Scanning

Scan using the flatbed scanner equipped with duplex automatic document feeder.

Standard 512 Mb of machine memory is included.

An EnergyStar compliant product.

Oki manufacture two capacities of toner cartridges to suit the MB492DN. The standard capacity black toner cartridge yields up to 3000 pages. The high capacity black toner cartridge has a quoted yield up to 7000 pages

Page yields are dependent upon the coverage and nature of the printed pages. All quoted page yields are declared as per the manufacturers stated yields and with the ISO/IEC standard. Genuine Oki toner cartridges are covered by their normal limited consumables warranty.
