Description

The HP Colour LaserJet Pro M283FDW colour laser printer.

A multifunction colour laser printer with wireless networking and print from mobile devices.

Features copier, flatbed scanner with automatic document feeder, double sided colour printing and fax.

Use the 10.9 cm customisable colour touchscreen display to show the easy to use menu system, so that the user can configure the general functions and features to enable the complete office machine.

Physical dimensions of the printer are 42 x 42.1 x 33.4 cm and weighs 18.7 kgs.

Scanning

Scan using the flatbed scanner equipped with automatic document feeder.

Connect options

Connect the HP LaserJet Pro M283FDW through wireless network; wireless direct; ethernet cable or USB cable.

Printing

Print up to 27 pages per minute using up to 600 x 600 dpi resolution.  Calibrate for Pantone colours to ensure that logos and special colours are printed accurately.  Print from smart phones and tablets using available mobile apps like HP ePrint, Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud print.  Password secured print mode ensures privacy for sensitive documents.

The paper tray has a capacity of 150 sheets and the multipurpose paper tray will hold 50 pages.

HP advise a duty cycle of up to 40000 pages.   Recommended page volume is between 150 – 2500 pages per month.

Standard 512Mb of machine memory is included.

The M283FDW is an EnergyStar compliant product.

HP manufacture two capacities of toner cartridges to suit the Colour LaserJet M283FDW.

The standard capacity black toner cartridge yields up to 1350 pages and standard colour cartridges print up to 1300 pages from each cartridge.

The high capacity black toner cartridge has a quoted yield up to 3150 pages and up to 2450 pages from each high capacity colour cartridge.

Page yields are dependent upon the coverage and nature of the printed pages. All quoted page yields are declared as per the manufacturers stated yields and with the ISO/IEC standard. Genuine HP toner cartridges are covered by their normal limited consumables warranty.
